The Rukatunturi Jump is a ski jump at Fjell Rukatunturi in Kuusamo.

It was here from 2002 to 2011 every year the so-called Nordic Opening, the season opener of the FIS World Cup Nordic skiing disciplines instead. 2012 Season Opening in ski jumping and Nordic combined was deviating but carried out by the long-standing practice a week before the competitions in Kuusamo in Lillehammer, Norway. History

The hill was after its completion in 1964, the largest ski jump in the world, and remained so until the construction of the new mill ski jump in Willingen in 2003. During the 90 years the plant was equipped with floodlights, so that night events are possible. In addition, the hill has a snowmaking system and a ceramic track and therefore is considered the largest ski jump in the world for year round use.
