Geography

Saint- Marcellin- lès- Vaison is approximately 2 km east of Vaison -la -Romaine in the north of the department of Vaucluse. Other surrounding communities adjacent to Vaison are Saint- Romain -en- Viennois, Entrechaux and Crestet. Nearest large city is 20 km away Carpentras in the south.

The municipality is located northeast of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The river Ouvèze forms part of the south-western boundary of the municipality. Along the northwestern border flows of Lauzon, which opens as a right tributary to the Ouvèze.
