San Biagio Platani

San Biagio Platani is a city in the province of Agrigento in the Italian region Sicily.

History

The community was founded in 1648.

Attractions

The city is built on a regular basis. It consists of two axes, the Viale della Vittoria and the Corso Umberto, which are at right angles. The most important buildings are the Carmine church from the 18th century and the parish church from the 18th century. San Biagio Platani is known for its ceremonies at Easter, which are celebrated from Good Friday to Easter Sunday.
