Seal of Arizona
The seal of the U.S. state of Arizona in 1911, a year before Arizona State was adopted.
Description
In the inner ring, a plate is on a blue background. At the top of the shield is the Latin motto of the state:
Below this is a scene which the landscape is the climate and the industry of the state.
About a valley with high mountains, the sun rises.
On the right side there is a water reservoir with a dam. Before that are planted and irrigated fields and gardens. A cow grazes also on the right side. All this demonstrates the agricultural resources of the State.
On the left side is a quartz mill with a Miners. This one has a pick and a shovel. This represents the mineral wealth of the state.
The outer ring is the English words " Great Seal of the State of Arizona " ( Great Seal of the State of Arizona) and the year 1912 - the year that Arizona State was.
