Seal of Arkansas

The seal of the U.S. state of Arkansas in 1864 and 1907 introduced adapted to its present form.

Description

The outer ring contains the English text "Great Seal of the State of Arkansas " ( Great Seal of the State of Arkansas).

The inner seal includes the Angel of Mercy (left), the sword of justice (right - with the inscription "Justice" = Justice) and the goddess of freedom (above).

Centrally located in the middle, behind a shield is a bald eagle. In its talons the eagle carries an olive branch and three arrows. In the animal beak holding a blue banner with the Latin motto:

The shield itself is divided into three parts:

These symbols represent the agricultural wealth of the state.
