Description

The seal shows a personification of the goddess Justitia, which deposits a wreath at a statue of the first U.S. President George Washington, the namesake of the city of Washington, DC,.

In the background is the Capitol to see the seat of the legislature of the United States of America. On the other hand there is a train on a viaduct in front of a rising sun.
