Vierden is a municipality in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme ) in Lower Saxony. In addition to the main town Vierden also includes the towns of large and small - Ippensen, Ramshausen and Nüttel to the community.

History
The first mention Ippensens done in 1335 in a freight directory of Buxtehude's monastery.
Incorporations
On March 1, 1974, the neighboring community Ippensen was incorporated.
