Rémelfang

Rémelfang ( German: Remelfangen ) is a commune of 125 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.

Geography

The place is located in the north of Lorraine, four kilometers south-west of Bouzonville away.

History

The church was first mentioned in 1179 as Ramelfinga. Other spellings denominated Rimelvanges ( 1235 ) and Rumelfingen (1501 ).
