Belles-Forêts

Belles- Forêts is a commune with 247 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.

Geography

The community Belles- Forêts is located on the Saar Canal, about 14 kilometers northwest of Sarrebourg. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Lorraine. Characteristic of the area are the numerous ponds and pools. In the field of community centers include the ponds Nolweyer, Chirrweyer and Breiweyer.

History

The community Belles- Forêts was created on 8 September 1973, consists of the two villages

• Angviller -lès- Bisping ( Angweiler ), which was first mentioned as 775 Hiohannivillare, and
• Bisping ( Bisping ).

Until 1 January 1986, the place Desseling one of them.

The name refers to the extensive forest areas from which the community is mainly composed.
