Great Britain at the Olympics

The British Olympic Association was incorporated in 1905 by the International Olympic Committee. From the United Kingdom three members of the IOC date: Princess Anne (since 1988), Phil Craven (since 2003) and Craig Reedle ( since 1994).

Participations

Since 1896, the British took part in all the summer and winter games.

Orientations

The United Kingdom has been, applied eight times at the summer games, but never to the winter games. 2012 London will become the first city that discharges Summer Olympic Games for the third time.
