Harskirchen

Harskirchen is a commune of 836 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region. She is a member of the Communauté de communes Municipalities du Pays de Sarre- Union.

The municipality is situated on the river Saar Harskirchen in the extreme northwest of Alsace. The valley of this opening into the Saar Naubach follows the Saar Canal (Canal de la Sarre of Houillères ) during his ascent towards the Rhine - Marne Canal.

Local attractions include the baroque equipped Lutheran church from the 18th century and the Catholic church with Neo-Gothic tower of the 19th century.
