Rosteig
Rosteig is a commune with 593 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Saverne, in the canton of La Petite- Pierre and community association Pays de La Petite- Pierre.
Geography
The community Rosteig lies in the northern Vosges, bordering the Moselle, and is part of the biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest -Vosges du Nord. To Rosteig part of the district of Johannesberg.
Neighboring municipalities are Soucht and Meisenthal in the north, Wingen -sur -Moder in the southeast, Aspen home in the south, Puberg in the southwest and mountain folk in the Northwest.
