Hengwiller

Hengwiller is a linear village and an independent municipality with 182 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Bas- Rhin in Alsace region of France. An important source of income is agriculture the interurban mostly used the land for farming. The municipality has an interest in the 586 -meter-high Reuters head in the southwest of Canton Marmoutier. The neighboring municipalities are Dimbsthal and Salenthal in the northeast, birch forest in south-east, Upper climbing in the South West and Reinhardsmunster in the northwest.
