Rongcheng Huatai Automobile Co., Ltd.. is a Chinese automotive manufacturer and the importer. Currently, 23 basic model series are distributed between the two individual brands Huatai - Hyundai and Beijing- Hyundai on offer. However, most of them are import models. History

The foundation of the company goes back to the year 2000, in which the two cities of Beijing and Huatai Made a decision to produce plants for the production of motor vehicles of South Korean automobile brands in China in local plants. The plant logo Huatais were quickly created and efforts have to offer suitable and unique products for the Chinese market and to acquire their licenses. With the two set requirements, the choice fell on Hyundai Motors.

After several months and numerous negotiations succeeded in Rongcheng Huatai Automobile Co., Ltd.. only to obtain the licenses for the production of car body parts and for the import of Kia vehicles. Since the construction of the first plant was completed in Huatai, they took on the production of the Huatai - Hyundai Santa Fe and the Huatai - Hyundai Terracan.
