Karl-Alfred Jacobsson

Karl -Alfred Jacobsson ( born January 15, 1926 in Boston, Massachusetts ) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Jacobsson first played at Gårda BK, before he moved to GAIS Gothenburg 1944. For GAIS he played until 1959 in the Allsvenskan. In 197 games for the club he scored not least because of his heading ability 145 goals. In 1954, he was with the club Swedish champion.

1952-1954 Jacobsson was top scorer in Allsvenskan three times in a row. This feat usually only January Mattsson of Östers IF 1973 to 1975.

Despite its amazing balance Jacobsson was considered only six times in the Swedish national team.

Jacobsson's brother Frank " Sanny " Jacobsson also played for GAIS in the Allsvenskan.
