Mats Aronsson

Mats Olof Aronsson ( born August 16, 1951) is a former Swedish football player. Meanwhile, the former striker has worked as a football official.

Career

As a football player

Aronsson began playing football at Vankiva IF. About Hässleholms IF he came before the start of the Premiership season 1977 Landskrona BoIS in the Allsvenskan. There, the striker knew to persuade and won with 15 goals this season, together with Reine Almqvist of climbers IFK Göteborg the title of the scorer. In the following years he was fighting with the team to avoid relegation to the second division. At the end of the season in 1980, he missed with the team in the league and therefore left the club at end of season. Later he moved to Stockholm Fotbollförbund, whose chairman he was. As a delegate of the regional association he also sat on the board of Svenska Fotbollförbundet.
