Moyencourt-lès-Poix

Moyencourt -lès- Poix ( Picard: Moéyincourt -lès- Poé ) is a northern French village with 165 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté de communes du Sud -Ouest Amiénois, in the canton Poix- de -Picardie.

Geography

The municipality is situated approximately 24 km south-west of Amiens between Poix- de -Picardie and Courcelles- sous- Moyencourt. It is crossed by the road department D1029 ranges in the north- west to the Autoroute A29 and to the east of the railway line from Amiens to Rouen addition. To Moyencourt the river in the eastern part of the hamlet Ménesvillers ( Picard: Ménevilèr ).
