Trophées UNFP du football
With the Trophée UNFP du football the most outstanding player, goalkeeper, coach and gates of a Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 season to be honored in France every year. The winners of the awards are chosen by the members of the French professional football players union National Union of Professional Footballers. As candidates all French players as well as standing in a club in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 contracted foreign players come into question. The award is since 1988 until 1994, made under the name " Oscar de l' UNFP du football ". Luis Fernández received 1994 as the first coach the ceremony. First excellent player in Ligue 2 was Jocelyn Gourvennec. 2002 was honored with an extra award for the first time a goalkeeper. Title holder was then Ulrich Ramé. In the same year Antoine Sibierski received an award for the best goal of the Ligue 1 since 2003, a team of the year also is selected. Ligue 1
Player of the Year
This award was the first time in 1994, awarded by the end of the season 1993/94. Dear First was the Frenchman David Ginola. In the first three years only French nationals were given the title. For the 1996/97 season, the Brazilian Sonny Anderson was honored as the first foreigner to the award of the Ligue 1 Player of the Year. The Portuguese Pauleta received in 2002 and 2003 as the only outfield player the award twice. So far, seven French and nine foreign professionals were excellent.
Rookie of the Year
Since the season 1993/94 the best young player in Ligue 1 receives an award. The first winner was Zinedine Zidane. By 2008 / 09, the honor was given only to French talent. The first excellent foreigners finally was then the Belgian Eden Hazard. He is also the first player to defend that title.
Goalkeeper of the Year
As of 2002, the UNFP also the best goalkeeper of the season decided to honor. First track carrier was Ulrich Ramé, then playing for Girondins Bordeaux. He was replaced in the following season by Grégory Coupet, the title three times, finally was able to defend in a row and has a total of four awards the most successful goalkeeper. Ligue 2
Player of the Year
As in the Ligue 1, the Player of the Year is awarded since 1994 in Ligue 2. First title holder was the former French midfielder Jocelyn Gourvennec, then playing for Stade Rennes. It took until the end of the season 1998/99 before the Algerierer Abdelkader Ferhaoui was honored as the first foreigner. So far, four other non-French received this award. A European foreigners was previously but not yet honored. Since 1994, Introduction, no player still managed to defend the title. Also managed no player award in the second and first division to obtain. Only footballers from Olympique Marseille could receive this award in both the Ligue 2, as well as in the Ligue 1.
Goalkeeper of the Year
