1973–74 Soviet League season
The season 1973 /74 Wysschaja League was the 28th season of the highest Soviet Hockey League. The Soviet league title secured for a total of Krylia Sovetov Moscow the second time.
Mode
The nine teams in the league played Wysschaja in a common main round four times against any opponent, bringing the total number of games per team was 32 . The point- best team became champion, during the last table had to play in the relegation to the second division champions. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
