1968–69 Soviet League season
The 1968/69 season was the 23rd season of the Klass A as the highest Soviet Hockey League. The Soviet league title secured for the third time Spartak Moscow.
Mode
The twelve teams in the Klass A first played in a common main round in return game against any opponent, bringing the total number of matches per team was 22. Then, the best six teams played in a final round six times each against any opponent ( a total of 30 matches per team ), the point best team in the final round champion. The teams that had the seven seats occupied in the main round to twelve, went into the match operation of the second league in which they reached all the re- qualification for the Soviet Championship next season. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
