1978 Alpine Skiing World Cup

The season 1977/1978 the FIS Alpine World Cup, organized by the began on December 7, 1977 in Val d'Isere and ended on 19 March 1978 in Arosa. For men, 22 races were held (8 runs, 7 giant slalom, slalom 7 ). For women, there were also 22 races (7 runs and 8 Giant Slalom, Slalom 7 ). Then there was ever a parallel slalom, who counted only for the Nations Cup. The combination was omitted this year, from the following season 1978/1979 it was regularly again in the World Cup program.
