Allenwiller
Allenwiller ( German Allenweiler ) is a municipality with 516 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the canton Marmoutier in the department of Bas -Rhin in Alsace region of France. She is a member of the Communauté de communes de la Sommerau.
Geography
The village is connected by secondary roads to the transport network. The neighboring villages are Salenthal and Singrist in the north, Romanswiller the southeast and birch forest to the west.
History
A first mention of the village, which is very often changed hands, there is from the 5th century. Allenwiller was assumed over the centuries various abbeys and dominions.
