ATP World Tour Finals

The ATP World Tour Finals apply in addition to the four Grand Slam tournaments as the most important tennis tournament in the Men's Tour. The last major tournament of the year will be held in London since 2009. The season finale since 2000 replaced the ATP and ITF organized Tennis Masters Cup, the successor of the ATP World Championships was his hand, but also the Grand Slam Cup replaced.

The eight-strong starting field in the individual is made up of the eight best-placed players in the ATP world rankings - in a double accordingly from the top eight teams in the double ranking. If a player or a team have won during the season a Grand Slam tournament and be at the end of the year in the top 20, he or she is qualified instead of eighth-placed player or doubles team.

The preliminary round will be played in two groups of four in a round -robin ( all against all ). Group allocation is done according to the world rankings, with the player on odd positions in the one that are set to straight in the other group. The two group winners then meet in the semifinals each of the runners-up of the other group. The winners will contest the final.
