The nuclear power plant Beaver Valley (English Beaver Valley Nuclear Generating Station ) is a nuclear power plant with two pressurized water reactors from Westinghouse. The nuclear power plant is located in Shippingport in Pennsylvania, 54 miles north-west of Pittsburgh. Not far away from the power plant site was also the nuclear power station Shippingport.

History

The two reactors were built from 1970 and 1984, respectively. Companies are the blocks of FirstEnergy. Block 1 was on 14 June 1976, and Unit 2 on August 17, 1987 to the network. The second block is 2047 finally go from the network.
