Brilliance Auto

Brilliance China Auto (华晨 汽车HUACHEN Qiche ) is a Chinese automobile manufacturer.

History

Founded in June 1992, the brand initially belonged to Bermuda. In 2002, the midsize sedan Zhonghua was presented. Today, it runs only in Asia under this name. In Europe, it was introduced under the name BS6 2007.

In March 2003, Brilliance was the joint venture "BMW Brilliance Automotive Limited " with a BMW, since a part of the BMW 3 Series, 5 Series and BMW X1 produced for the Asian market in China. The 3 Series and 5 Series model is made there under including the long version, which is only available in China.

Brilliance has a 51 % interest in Shenyang Automotive, which manufactures the models of brands Zhonghua, JinBei and Granse.

Electric cars
