Policy

Thyraburg

From the Thyraburg, the attachment at the eastern end of the Danevirke is do not get much more out of the base. Danevirke Museum

The Danewerk is one of the greatest archaeological monuments in Northern Europe. Remains of the Danevirke can be seen in the outdoor facilities. The museum was founded in 1990 and is located in a former farmhouse on the old military road, the Army Road.

Part of the Danevirke is the Waldemar wall, an old brick wall from the 12th century, which was built at the instigation of King Valdemar I. to strengthen the wall. It is considered the oldest brick buildings in Northern Europe.
