Kronsgaard

Kronsgaard is a municipality in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. It is located in the countryside fishing on the Baltic Sea. Breede, Düttebüll (Danish: Dyttebøl ) Golsmaas, long field and pot hole ( Puthul ) are in the municipal area.

Geography

Flensburg is located in the extreme north of the state of Schleswig -Holstein on the Baltic Sea and the Danish border. The municipality is situated on the bay Geltinger, a bulge in the region of the Baltic Sea fishing.

Kronsgaard is part of the district of Schleswig -Flensburg. To the north and north-west lies the community Pommerby, south and southwest of the town Hasselberg. In the east Kronsgaard bordering the Baltic Sea.

History

Kronsgaard was first mentioned in 1535 as a courtyard, where the name derives from the Danish Gaard or Gård for court and the crown composed as an indication of the royal possession. So it was a manor royal property. The farm was demolished and the stones were used as building material for the location near Gelting Good ear field. Initially, the site belonged to the estate Buck Hagen, later to Good Düttebüll.

The village Düttebüll, which now belongs to the municipality was first mentioned in 1409. The Neolithic megalithic grave Kronsgaard lay in the municipal area. Ecclesiastical Kronsgaard belonged to the parish of Gelting.

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the voter community CHP ( municipal voter community Kronsgaard ) since the local elections in 2013 five seats, the CDU has four seats.

Good Düttebüll

Good Düttebüll was created in 1554 as a noble residence. The manor house was substantially rebuilt in 1785. In addition to the mansion, outbuildings, a bridge and an avenue of lime trees are preserved. It is completely surrounded by a moat. The estate is privately owned and not open to visitors.

Economy

Agriculture and tourism dominate the municipal area, with the tourism particularly on the district Golsmaas, located on the Baltic Sea, concentrated. Kronsgaard has a nearly three -kilometer-long natural beach.
