Elisabeta Lipă

Elisabeta Lipa, born Elisabeta Oleniuc, ( born October 26, 1964 in Siret ) is a former Romanian rower. Considered the most successful rower in the world.

It was five times Olympic gold medalist:

In 1988, she won silver in the double sculls and bronze in the quadruple sculls. In 1992 she won the gold medal in the next one also silver in the double sculls. In addition, she has won several world championships and medals, they won in 1989 at One.
