Expedition 25

ISS Expedition 25 mission is the designation for the 25 long-term crew of the International Space Station ( ISS). The mission began on September 25, 2010 at 2:02 UTC clock with the uncoupling of the spaceship Soyuz TMA -18 from the ISS. The end was marked by the uncoupling of Soyuz TMA -19 on 26 November 2010 1:23 UTC.

  • Shannon Walker ( first space flight ), aircraft engineer (USA / NASA) ( Soyuz TMA -19)
  • Fyodor Nikolayevich Yurchikhin ( third space flight ), flight engineer ( Russia / Roscosmos ) ( Soyuz TMA -19)

From 10 October 2010:

  • Scott Joseph Kelly ( third space flight), flight engineer (USA / NASA) ( Soyuz TMA -01M )
  • Alexander Jurjewitsch Kaleri ( 5 space flight), flight engineer ( Russia / Roscosmos ) ( Soyuz TMA -01M )
  • Oleg Ivanovich Skripotschka ( first space flight), flight engineer ( Russia / Roscosmos ) ( Soyuz TMA -01M )

After the departure of Wheelock, Walker and Yurchikhin Kelly took command and formed with Kaleri and Skripotschka the initial crew of the ISS Expedition 26

Backup crew

The backup crew of ISS Expedition recruited from the backup crews of the Soyuz shuttle respective spaceships ( see there). If everything is going according to plan, these teams two Soyuz missions and thus two ISS expeditions are then usually later for regular use.
