Fossemanant

Fossemanant ( Picard: Fosménant ) is a northern French village with 106 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté de communes du canton de Conty, in the canton Conty.

Geography

The church on the left (western) bank of the Selle, about 13 km south-southwest of Amiens. It is connected by a bridge to Nampty. The community was of the disused since the late 1980s railway line from Amiens to Beauvais (now a hiking trail La Coulee Verte removed) through it.
