Gurbrü (French Corbruil ) is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
Geography
Gurbrü situated in the Swiss countryside on the edge of the Great Marsh. The municipality consists of the village and the hamlet Gurbrü Stämpflerei which the municipality bei Kerzers, Canton of Fribourg, belonged until 1854. The neighboring communities of north clockwise are starting Wileroltigen, Ferenbalm, Ried bei Kerzers and Kerzers itself
Policy
Community is President Renate Hurni - chamber man (as of 2009 ).
The voter shares of the parties at the national elections of 2011 were: SVP 52.6 %, 13.7 % BDP, SP 8.1 %, FDP 6.1 %, 5.5 % GPS, EPP 5.3 %, 3.1 % GLP CVP 0.9 %, EDU 0.5 %.

Gurbrü located off the A1, has itself, however, no driveway. The railway line runs through Kerzers - Gümmenen Gurbrü, the stop is, however, a bit off in Ferenbalm. Thus, it is possible to arrive via Flamatt or Bern- Bümpliz to Bern. Normally, it is probably advisable to use the good railway connections in four directions in the near Kerzers.
History
1963-1981 led to a Gesamtmelioration larger parcels in agriculture. 2014 Gurbrü celebrates its 800th anniversary.
