Hagen, Schleswig-Holstein

Hagen is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein.

Geography and transport

Hagen is located about seven kilometers northwest of Bad Bramstedt in a rural environment. South State Road 206 Bad Bramstedt runs to Itzehoe.

The 12-hectare conservation area Hagen Moor is located in the municipal area. By Mark the box Mühlenbek runs.

History

Hagen was first mentioned in 1233 as a clearing settlement on the fringe of the parish Bad Bramstedt. The name refers to the system of the village as a spine reinforced weir and escape conditioning.
