Hasenkrug
Hasenkrug is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein.
Geography and transport
Hasenkrug is located about 8 km north of Bad Bramstedt and 12 km south-west of Neumünster in a rural environment. To the east runs the Federal Highway 7 from Hamburg to Flensburg. The train station in Brokstedt and the stops of the AKN in Bad Bramstedt and Neumünster connect Hasenkrug with the rail network.
History
The town was first mentioned in 1523 and got 1998 for 475- year celebrations, its own flag.
Policy
Since the local elections of 2008, the voters Community KWV has all nine seats in the municipal council.

Economy
The originally purely agricultural community is changing currently to residential. In 2002, the new village was inaugurated. Integrated into the village house is the Markttreff " Dörpshöker ". This ensures the supply of food and fresh baked goods. At the entrance to the village house is an Internet connection available.
