Weede
Weede is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein. Mielsdorf, Söhren and Steinbek lie in the municipality.
Geography and transport
Weede located directly east of Bad Segeberg at the Federal Highway 20 to Lübeck. From 1916 to 1967 the station was Weede Lübeck- Segeberger railroad.
History
The place Weede was first documented in 1447. The place Steinbek was first mentioned in 1249.
Incorporations
On January 1, 1972, the neighboring community Söhren was incorporated. Mielsdorf joined them on 1 January 1974.
Policy
Of the eleven seats in the municipal council has the voter community ABW since the municipal election of 2008, all seats.
