Kisdorf

Kisdorf ( Low German Kisdörp ) is a municipality in the southern part of the county Segeberg in Schleswig -Holstein. Kisdorf Village, Kisdorferwohld, Kisdorf field Kisdorf - Graff and Kisdorf rule lie in the municipality.

Geography and transport

Kisdorf is located about 10 km north of Norderstedt in a rural environment. To the west runs the Federal Highway 7 from Hamburg to Flensburg, east of State Road 432 from Norderstedt to Bad Segeberg.

The town lies on the western slope of Kisdorfer Wohldes, a ridge, with its highest peak of the - the Rath pitchers ( 91 m) - reached the height of Segeberger the limestone.

History

Kisdorf was first mentioned in 1520 as " Kystorpp ". Until the mid-16th century there was a glassworks in the village and into the 18th century extensive forest areas that were used for the production of charcoal.

The SC Kisdorf was established on April 2, 1947.
