Hipstedt
Hipstedt ( Low German: Hipst ) is a municipality of the velvet municipality Geestequelle in the district of Rotenburg ( Wümme) in Lower Saxony. In addition to the main town Hipstedt also the place Heinschenwalde belongs to the municipality. The Geestemünde rises near Hipstedt and ends in Bremerhaven as the northernmost tributary of the Weser.

Incorporations
On March 1, 1974, the municipality Heinschenwalde was incorporated.
Policy
Mayor since 2012 Gerhard Oetjen. His predecessor, Karl Heinz Poredda from 1961 to March 2012 in the Official and thus the longest-serving German mayor.
