Already in 1808, the district court Uffenheim had been built. They all belonged to Rezatkreis, which was renamed in 1838 in Middle Franconia. In 1852 the district court Scheinfeld from the previous rule courts Schwarzenberg and Burghaslach was formed. 1862 the district office Windsheim was from the District Courts Neustadt and Erlbach the district office Neustadt, from the District Courts Scheinfeld and market Bibart the district office Scheinfeld and from the regional courts Uffenheim and Windsheim formed. These two main lines are connected by a branch line and through the railway line Neustadt ( Aisch ) -Steinach bei Rothenburg, which was first built in 1876 from Neustadt to Bad Windsheim and continued from 1898 to Steinach in the far west of the county. In Steinach a connection to Rothenburg ob der Tauber established in 1873, which was extended to Dombühl 1905 and reduced again to Rothenburg in the 1970s (see railway Steinach bei Rothenburg Dombühl ). The village market Erlbach in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch -Bad Windsheim received in 1902 an existing to this day rail connection with the Zenngrundbahn after Siegelsdorf and thus the main Nuremberg- Würzburg.

In the north, the railway line Strullendorf key field leads ( Upper Steigerwald train) at Burghaslach by the circular area, but only on the goods to be transported to and from key field. From today's county town of Neustadt in 1904 opened up a more local railway line to the Aischgrund Demantsfürth - Uehlfeld. This so-called Aischtalbahn but was finally shut down the mid-1990s. The rails have been dismantled and the trains replaced by buses from the Neustadt train station after Uehlfeld and back. In parts of the old route now runs the Aischtalradweg. The passenger train network in the district area of 117 km in length was thus reduced by only 15 km from the institution:
