On Air - Live at the BBC Volume 2 is a musical album by the British band The Beatles in the year 2013 and is the second part of the 1994 publication album Live at the BBC Represents the album contains songs of the band, the exclusive 1963-1965 for the British radio station BBC recorded.

Content

The album is made up of a total of 37 music recordings of the Beatles, as well as 23 language contributions. Compiled Album by Kevin Howlett and Mike Heatley and in London's Abbey Road Studios by Guy Massey and Alex Wharton was mastered.

Reception

Arnold Hohmann says in a review of the WAZ, that the joy of playing the Beatles on this album " comes across well ." However, he criticized the previous album to be repetitive selection and the sometimes " questionable sound quality ." Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic music portal praises the combination of interview and musical contributions on the album and also highlights the sometimes enthusiastic joy of playing the tape out. Overall, he gives four stars out of five.
