Remiencourt

Remiencourt ( Picard: Émiencourt ) is a northern French village with 184 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens, is part of the Communauté d' agglomà Amiens Métropole, in the canton Boves.

Geography

The traversed by the railway line Paris -Lille municipality lies mostly on the right ( eastern ) bank of the Noye opposite Guyencourt -sur- Noye approximately 3.5 km north of the immediately adjacent Ailly- sur- Noye and 8 km south of Boves at the department of road D90.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
