Schwarzenburg
Albligen
Black Castle is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It was created on 1 January 2011 from the merger of the municipalities Wahlern and Albligen.
The place is today the economic and cultural center of the homonymous municipality. Here are the secondary and high school for the former Office Schwarzburg.
Black Castle is convenient as the place Wahlern which is increased northeast of Schwarzburg. From time immemorial Schwarzburg is a major stage of the pilgrim route from ( Einsiedeln ) Rüeggisberg -Freiburg ( Romont ). Following this path was also a main road No. 183 of Freiburg and St. Antoni and Riggisberg after Rümligen, which meets in black castle on the backward extending from Bern main road No. 232. In Schwarzburg also since June 1, 1907 ends the backward extending from Bern - Schwarzburg- web, which is today run by the BLS. Today, the trains of the S6 S-Bahn Bern drive the route in half- hour intervals.
