Bayecourt

Bayecourt is a commune with 281 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Vosges in Lorraine. It belongs to the district Epinal, in the canton of Châtel- sur -Moselle and the community association AgglomÃ d' Epinal.

Geography

Bayecourt located eleven kilometers northeast of Epinal in the predominantly flat hinterland of the upper Moselle. Through the village flows the River Moselle Creek Durbion. The biggest part of its territory is used for agriculture; Forest occurs only in the north- east ( Bois des Epinettes ) and south ( Bois des Hayes ) on. Neighboring communities of Bayecourt are Domèvre -sur- Durbion in the northwest and north, Badménil -aux -Bois in the northeast, Villoncourt in the east, the south and Dignonville Girmont the southwest and west.
