Dommartin-aux-Bois
Dommartin- aux- Bois is a commune with 431 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Vosges of Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Epinal, Epinal to Canton -Ouest and since 2012 the Local Government Association, Secteur de Dompaire.
Geography
Dommartin- aux- Bois is located on the high plateau of Voge about 60 kilometers south of Nancy and 13 kilometers west of Epinal. The North Sea -Mediterranean watershed runs through the municipality. Precipitation in the hamlets Barbonfaing and Agemont flow south to the Rhône and the hamlet Adoncourt to the north of the lattice to the Rhine.
Neighboring communities of Dommartin- aux- Bois are Gorhey in the north, Chaumousey in the northeast, Girancourt in the east, in the southeast Uzemain, Charmois - l'Orgueilleux in the south, the west and Harol Damas -et- Bettegney ( point of contact ) to the northwest.
History
1984 destroyed a severe downburst 94 buildings, 190 hectares of crops cultivated farmland and trees 3000.
