2011–12 La Liga

The Primera División 2011/12 was the 81st season in the history of Spanish football league. The season should start on 20 August 2011 due to a players strike the launch was postponed to August 27. The players' union AFE demanded better protection for the salaries of football players, as the Spanish football clubs would not have paid 50 million euros in the previous season. A total of 200 players were affected. The season ended as scheduled on 13 May 2012.

The Zamora Trophy is awarded annually for the goalkeeper with the fewest goals against per game. To get into the score, the player must contest of 60 minutes at least 28 encounters.
