Bühnsdorf
Bühnsdorf is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein.
Geography and transport
Bühnsdorf is a linear village located about 7 km southwest of Bad Segeberg in a rural environment. To the west runs the federal motorway 21 of Bad Segeberg to Bad Oldesloe, north of State Road 206 from Bad Segeberg to Lübeck.
History
Bühnsdorf was first mentioned in 1142 as Buenestorpe.
Policy
The voters Community KWG since the municipal election of 2008, all nine seats in the municipal council.
Coat of arms
Blazon: " Divided by a raised silver wave beams of red and blue. Up a lying silver Flintbeilschneide, below an upright silver ear next to an outwardly -turned upright silver Schlachterbeil. "
The coat of arms was granted in 1993; two years later Bühnsdorf also got a community flag, whose design is based on the coat of arms.
Economy
The community is predominantly agricultural, with the cultivation of grain predominates. Within the area there are also several commercial establishments.
Personalities
The humorist Günter Willumeit lived in his youth in Bühnsdorf.
