Burak Yılmaz (born 15 July 1985 in Antalya) is a Turkish football player.
Club career
Burak Yılmaz began his career in the 2002/03 season at Antalyaspor. Thus at second division, he escalated in two years to the most important player of his team. Beşiktaş Istanbul undertook the young talent before the season 2006/07.
In his first season for Beşiktaş Yılmaz was one of the regulars. In the same season Burak was appointed by the national coach Fatih Terim in the Turkish national football team. At the end of the season he won the Turkish Cup with Besiktas Istanbul. For Yılmaz it was the first club success. In the following season Yılmaz came at Beşiktaş not more frequently used. His new coach Ertuğrul Sağlam was not planning with the striker. That's why he left in the winter, by a player exchange for Filip Holosko, the black-white and played from then on for Manisaspor.
In Manisaspor he put his quality test. In 16 out of 17 league games Yılmaz shot nine goals. Even after a half season, he managed to return to Istanbul. Fenerbahce signed him. Under the Spaniard Luis Aragones Burak Yılmaz was only a reserve player. In Christoph Daum, the striker also could not recommend it, which is why he was loaned to Eskişehirspor itself. For Trabzonspor Yılmaz played in the back round 11 matches and scored three goals. It was the end of the season again Turkish Cup winners. He also played a crucial role in the championship match of the season 2009/10. On the final day met in Istanbul Fenerbahçe on Trabzonspor. In the 2011/12 season Yılmaz was for the first time in his career scorer in the Süper Lig He scored 33 goals in 34 games and set a new record on a player from Trabzonspor. The previous record holder at Trabzonspor was Fatih Tekke with 31 goals in the season 2004/05.
Before the start of the 2012/13 season Yılmaz changed again to Istanbul. Galatasaray signed him and used his release clause of € 5 million. He signed for four years plus one year option. With this change is the second player in Turkish football who plays for Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor Burak Yilmaz or played by Sergen Yalçın. His first goal for Galatasaray scored Burak Yilmaz on 2 September 2012 at the league match against Bursaspor, which ended 3-2 for Galatasaray. In the Champions League on November 7, 2012, he scored a hat trick in the 3-1 away win against Galatasaray Cluj. National
Yılmaz belonged since 2001 regularly in the squad of Turkish youth teams. With the U-19 he took in 2004 at the finals of the U-19 European Championship and was defeated with his team until the finals Spain 0:1. A year later he was also at the Junior World Championship in 2005 in the Netherlands in the squad when he again failed to Spain with the U-20 team in the second round.
His debut in the Turkish national team he was on 12 April 2006 against Azerbaijan. His first international goal he scored 3 June 2011 against Belgium. Yılmaz, it became the first player in the history of the Turkish national football team, scoring a goal in four consecutive games.

- Burak Yılmaz ' father Fikret Yilmaz was also a professional footballer and was the goalkeeper. He played for Adanaspor, Antalyaspor and Ankaragucu and worked as a trainer later.
