Dollrottfeld

Dollrottfeld (Danish: Dollerødmark ) is a municipality and the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography and transport

The municipality consists of the villages Dollrottholz, Dollrottwatt, Oberland and Justrup. However, it has no distinct center but is a linear village. The town was founded during the coupling of the lands of Good Dollrott in the 18th century, when the peasants could settle on the former field.

Dollrottfeld is located about eight kilometers west of Kappeln and about two kilometers east of Suederbrarup on the main road 201 to Schleswig.

Policy

Since the local elections of 2013, the voters Community Kawd has all nine seats in the municipal council.

Economy

The community is very heavily dominated by agriculture, although the number of cultivated farms for years back going strong. It outweigh livestock, dairy farming and farming (cereals, oilseed rape). The mid and late 1990s, a series of wind turbines were built. This activity took place but because of the scattered settlement pattern soon their spatial boundary.

Because of its proximity to the Baltic Sea and Schlei becoming increasingly important for the community tourism. This is mainly due to the increasing number of apartments and guest rooms expression.
