History
The construction of the power plant began on 25 March 1969. Farms is the powerhouse of American Electric Power.
Block 1
Unit 1 is a pressurized water reactor from Westinghouse. The reactor has a net electrical capacity of 1016 MW and a gross capacity of 1077 MW and was put into operation on 10 February 1975.
Block 2
Block 2 is a pressurized water reactor from Westinghouse. The reactor has a net electrical capacity of 1077 MW and a gross capacity of 1133 MW and was put into operation on 22 March 1978.
