Föhrden-Barl
Föhrden - Barl is a municipality in the west of the district Segeberg in Schleswig -Holstein.
History
The name is composed of two once separate places: Föhrden and Barl. These were separated by the river Bramau, however, there was a ford across the river could be crossed.
Policy
Since the local elections in 2013, the New Wählergemeinschaft ( NWG ) and five voters Community Active Life Föhrden value - Barl ( ALFB ) four seats in the municipal council.

The three leaves symbolize the south to the district Föhrden, since earlier were huge beech and oak trees. The amulet is intended to Wiebeke Kruse, a daughter of the community, remember, and symbolizes the district Barl.
Personalities
Wiebeke Kruse was wife of the Danish King Christian IV, who she met about 1625 in the nearby town of Bad Bramstedt. She was hired by him as a teacher. Later she became his mistress, and it came to marriage.
