Marquette County (Wisconsin)

Marquette County is a county located in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. In the census in 2010, the County had 15,404 inhabitants and a population density of 13.1 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Montello.

History

Marquette County was formed in 1836 from the Marquette District. It was named after Jacques Marquette, a French Jesuit and explorers.

Demographic data
