Oersberg

Oersberg (Danish: Ørsbjerg ) is a municipality near Kappeln in the district of Schleswig -Flensburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. Arrild, Kragelund, Schrün, Toestorf and Töstrup belong to the municipality.

History

The St. John's Church, a stone church with bell wood stand ( bells stack ), was built in 1198. The west wall of the church was renewed in 1792, while a new West Portal was installed.

1848, the agricultural school was founded. This makes it the oldest in the state of Schleswig- Holstein.

Incorporations

On January 1, 1971, the municipality Toesdorf was incorporated.

Good Toestorf

Good Toestorf originated in 1670, was divided as Good Roest at Kappeln. The Baroque mansion was built in 1765, the farm buildings are not preserved.

Policy

Since the local elections of 2013, the voters Community FWG has all nine seats in the municipal council.

Blazon: "Increases shared by gold and green with a flattened three green mountain. Top three green leaves, down an open golden book covered with a golden ear. "

Historical Reason: The municipality Oersberg is in the countryside fishing in the northern Schleswig-Holstein natural area hill country. The coat of arms dividing green Dreienberg intended to indicate the moving topography of the landscape. The opened book with golden spike in the sign is reminiscent of the former agricultural college ( 1839/45-1850 ) in Oersberg, which was the oldest in the country after Flottbeck and Rendsburg. The three leaves represent the districts Arrild, Oersberg and Toestrup. The golden (yellow ) background indicates the importance of agriculture with blooming rapeseed fields.
